A protective woven jacket in polyester covers the continuous loop of polyester fiber yarns, for a sling that's both strong and lightweight. The low stretch value and moisture absorption of polyester makes it easy to handle, and also resistant to rotting and mildew. Polyester round slings are also extremely versatile because they can be used in all hitch configurations.
