Wire Rope Thimbles - Heavy Duty Galvanized - 7/8" (Each)

Galvanized Wire Rope Thimbles are hot dipped to give them a thicker coating of zinc than the standard zinc plated thimbles for added protection from corrosion. These heavy duty thimbles are great for outside applications where a zinc plating just isn't quite good enough. Our steel thimbles are made to meet or exceed Federal Speification FF-T-276b, Type III. If you are looking for further corrosion resistance in high moisture environments, try our stainless steel thimbles in type 304 and type 316. The type 304 is the most common stainless steel while the type 316 contains the added element Molybdenum.
